Change quote display in threads?

Hey guys, i was wondering how to change how quotes are displayed in threads?
Right now its just italic text surrounded by a black line, how would i go about changing this? i would like to make the whole quote box a bit darker than the rest of the page to make it more interesting to look at.

alright i found that template but i can't figure out how to change the bg color behind the text of a quote, iv been trying for about 30 minutes but nothing's working, any help? And thank you for your swift response.
