why would this happen?
the promotions task has ran alot since he posted this!

Have you checked his user status to see if he has indeed been promoted into the new usergroup?
yes and they have but still have the problem!
read the thread another problem has come up also!

I can't read the thread as I'm not registered. You should just post about what is going on here instead of having people have to go to your site to read about it.
I would check his user profile and compare it to the user profile of someone whos account is working fine and see what the differences are. (Any additional usergroups?)

try to see if your Scheduled Tasks : -
User Promotions is there and is working
and then see if the shedule task codes in footer is there and working >>>

If the user *is* getting promoted to the correct usergroup, then this isn't a promotion problem. I thought you said above that he was in the correct usergroup. If he is in the correct usergroup and is getting that message, then the problem is different than if he isn't getting promoted. So, which is it?
he IS in the correct usergroup
however this didnt happen until i set the promotion

i have problem with promotion too.
its act if the user be online then shift ti new group.
can set it to act for all user before they become online

You would have to change the promotion query in order to do that.

It's a scheduled task - if you look at the Promotion Task, you'll see it runs the script "./includes/cron/promotion.php"
