Ranks by posts AND reputation

Is it possible (or is there a modification) for a user to advance in ranks going by both posts and reputation or do I really have to create like 40 usergroups & do it via promotions? Because I want moderators and such to advance the same way.

Any recommendations?

promotions is the only way out

there is no modifications who will act as you thought lolx , just try you can do it^^
