Am I missing something or are there no install or usage instructions in the zip archive?
For example:
The first option "Cache Directory" - what do I enter there? And once the configuration is done - where do I get the code to create widgets in my CMS?

Finally! Thank You :)

Latest albums would be a great addition to widgets...there's no other hack can display latest albums on external site...

Good work.

Strangely, in footer of two of those demo forums, Internet Brands notice is there. Are you IB staff?

Let's hope something like this will come packaged with vBulletin 4 series.

Instructions are very simple - they are in the README file. You can build a widgets anywhere, inside posts, outside vbulletin on non-vbulletin pages, etc.

VB 4.0 comes with its own widget system which puts this one to shame :) but until then - this gets the job done.

Wow, this plugin is what I was looking for :)

But a have a problem... I don't know if Im doing something wrong or what, but in the widget-config.php file there's a line saying:
* Step 5: Upload the widgets-cron.php file to the includes/cron directory

I dont see any widgets-cron.php file in the .zip.

Please forgive if is a stupid question:), but I would really love have this plugin working and I can't find this file. And sorry for my english, because Im spanish:D

Thanks<3

Do you know if the vB 4 widgets will be usable on non-vBulletin pages?

Any idea how to fix this error?

Getting a similar error. Seems to be an issue with the table prefixes?

I fixed the problem. There is an error in one sql query when you have a table prefix. In the class_ibwidgets.php file search for this code:

$check = "SHOW TABLES LIKE " . TABLE_PREFIX . "'ibportal'";

and replace with this:

$check = "SHOW TABLES LIKE '" . TABLE_PREFIX . "ibportal'";

There's a misplaced single quote in that statement. Just moving the single quote to the other side of the TABLE_PREFIX fixes the issue.
