Why won't google index my images?

Hello Everyone.

I was wondering if someone could help me and answer my question.

My forum is about 12 months old now and google has not indexed one single image.

I have hot link images and images in the database that is storeded on the file system.

My url is www.skyscraperarchive.com

Can anyone shed some light on my problem and maybe some ideas how to fix it.

Well, you are not blocked by any means since your logo has been indexed by Google.

Thank you VB Tree, that was very informative information.

I am already using most of those tips, so I guess it's just a waiting game for google to come and find the images.

I have been using the alt tags just recently from a bb code thingy I had found in this site somewhere.

So, could i say my images would be indexed in the next 2 months say?

By the way, you don't have a robots.txt file blocking anything do you?

is this the right place for it?

Yes, that is the correct place for it. I don't know but is there any chance that blocking image.php is stopping the images from being indexed. Seems unlikely but could someone with more knowledge than myself confirm this for me?

Yes, its a posiblity maybe

Disallow: /forums/image.php
Disallow: /forums/attachment.php

are blocking the images from being indexed, I think i will do an experiment and delete them for a few weeks and see what the results are.

But if someone knows what those 2 exactly block and could provide an explination for better understanding that would be great.
