Zoovix Web Based Software Development is a website where you discuss coding. We support every single language (coding languages, not speaking languages). The speaking languages that we use is only English, but I am considering adding French shortly, as I speak French quite often.

The color picker is for people who are doing web design, and want to use out new color picker. You can even move it around anywhere on the page by dragging that gray handle. This was not coded by us, but was edited by us. Evid Green is the style we're using, but we edited it completely.

We completely customized the profile page. Take a minute to check mine out (you do not need to be registered I do not believe).

Please give a good, honest review. I'd like to know what to fix up, before releasing it tomorrow, or the day after.

Do not review the fact that we have no users, just on other things. We have not advertised yet. We are going to get in touch with major hosting companies (ex: HostGator) and try to pay them to advertise us for their clients, for those that need to learn coding.

Decent start.. I like the name, it's weird, but memorable. I like the forum categories, I think it's a good set up for a start up forum.

The color picker is cool, but what is the purpose? If it's just as a tool to offer developers, that's nice and all, but don't most developers already have a number of solutions for this? I know I do. I just don't know if it's that useful of a feature. I originally thought it was to change the colors of your site layout (which would be a good feature to have).

Now for the bad -- I don't like the style. At all. It's better than the default, but not by much. It's a bad green and it leaves too much white-space for the eye. The areas where I'm focusing are empty (the header, the sides, etc). I also think the main navigation (color picker, register, and FAQ) could be done much better. It needs to stand out more than it does right now.

I'd like to see the "Top 5 Stats" thing moved down to the bottom, just above the "What's Going On?" box. Stats aren't important, getting visitors to see your forum categories is important. Pushing them down for the stats is a mistake, in my opinion.

Like I said, it's a good start, but I suggest that you get a custom style made, and offer features that your competitors don't have. Right now, this is no different than John Doe who opened up his coding forum a month ago, you know what I mean? Why would someone come here over Daniweb, Devshed, Sitepoint, and other programming forums?

A site like this always has potential, so I'd hate to see it die out like the percentage does..

Thanks for the Review!

We will soon be adding this same style in multiple colors, and having a selector like vB.org has.

The color picker, is just something that people could come to our site for. Many people go to websites to use color pickers, and now, they can visit us, where they can also get help, and help others with projects.

Once we become popular, we will start adding custom skins and such. We just opened a week ago, not even. So we've been working on other small things more.

As for features, we will have them soon. I have a few ideas for this forum.

I will move the statistics box to the footer after I eat supper (it's ready now, so I'm running out of time to write this reply. :p)

As said, I will pay for a custom style to be made, I'd just like some decent members before we head down that road. I could also code a custom style by myself, but it would take some time, and I have no ideas what-so-ever.

More reviews are welcomed. :) Thanks again, KTB.

Sorry, we actually had an error with the niche.

It's "Web Based Software Development", not "Coding Discussions".

New feature. Login using the vborg account, and check out the new style selector. You'll see it in that black box in the top corner as soon as you login. Check it out now. The red style will be added soon!

Oh, okay. Sorry, I meant to have it look like the website is copyright of Zoovix, and the software is powered by vBulletin.

I'll move it around.

More reviews, pretty please? :)

My website currently has two styles.

1) http://community.zoovix.com/?styleid=9
2) http://community.zoovix.com/?styleid=5

Which one do you think matches the site theme more? (web based software dev. (coding)).
