many new spam registrations everyday :-(

Hi,

I am now very tired of every day, should I delete up to 5 new members who are either just spammers, or the Russian people.
They always create a strange spam names, so they are easy to delete, I try always to block ip address, but just a little help.

Any ideas to stop this?:mad:

make some questions in registrations

If i had a $1 for every time this questions been asked, i'd be rich :D

Good thing being, you've come to the right place, Just do a search on Spam, and download one of the many mods available in the Mods forum.

I use "Is Bot" and i find that sorts about 99% of my spam, thats a great hack, but there are loads more.

Doing a search on "Spam" will bring you up the most popular threads.

You'll find that people will reply to these threads a couple of times but then gets a bit much when someone asks the same question a few days later, Do a search and you'll get the pick of the crop!!
