hm, i dont know , it looks very simple to me , no interaction between the style and the user ... is this a general site about anything? , then a logo should imply that , my thought.

you have quite a way to go , looks very simple and not unique , and if you are aiming towards a good unique successful site , then a good style , together with content , can help you out.
