How To Stop Those Spam Bots?

I swear I have like every modification to stop them but yet they get through. They are really beginning to increase as of late. Is there any possible way of at least slowing them down?

I average like 5 to 6 a day now.

Have ten questions and answers ready.
Set 8 different question and answers as part of the registration process. (Only one will be randomly selected)
Now make use of the spare two and rotate on a weekly/monthly basis

I use reCAPTCHA on my boards. One of them gets bombarded by spam bots, and since I enabled reCAPTCHA they no longer get through.

Worked for me, however, I have heard of SPAM getting through reCAPTCHA.

Install the Stop Forum Spam mod. It doesn't catch them all but be part of the process and install the part where you can report them as well.
