Users in my forum have permission to have/change signatures. But one of my users reported having some difficulty with this. She's trying to edit her signature, but can't seem to get it to save. I went into the control panel myself to handle it from there and couldn't get it to change, either. I can eliminate the old signature, but can't save the new one. Anyone have any insight on this?
By the way, all signatures for everyone are visible. And I'm using 3.8.2.

Are you getting an error? Is she in any secondary groups? Have you looked in the error_logs to see if anything is in there (if you don't know where they are, ask your host).

No, she's not in any secondary groups. And I'm not getting any error message. When I try to save in the ACP, all I get is a blank blue page instead of the usual "Saved Page Successfully." It's really odd.

Actually, I just checked in the error log, and these are the last two errors that are appearing. I'm not sure if either or both are relating to this problem:

I don't know what any of it means, though.

I don't think those errors are related to this.
Can you put *anything* in the signature and save it? Or is it just putting specific contents in the signature which causes the problem?

Nope, I can't put anything in there and save it.

Can you change anything in their profile? It sounds like it may be an issue with something else related to their user information.

I can change other profile info. Just as an experiment, I tried changing my signature, and I can't save that, either! So it sounds lie it's just something related to signatures -- nothing else!
Any ideas?

Hmmmm. Try disabling your modifications/plugins and see if you still have this problem.
Note: To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit config.php and add this line right under <?php
define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true);
Don't forget that for vbseo, disabling the modification means to also get rid of anything extra you added to your htaccess file.

Well, what do you know -- I went through and disabled each of my plug-ins, one at a time, and when I disabled AME-Automatic Media Embedder 2.5.4, I could save the signature!
Anyone else have this problem?

You might want to post in the modification thread and see if anyone else has had the problem and has a solution. (You might want to read the thread first to see if this has already been brought up.)
