i just installed a fresh vbulletin. When i try to upload a new theme it gives me following error.

pcode]

Warning: file_exists() [function.file-exists]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/tmp/phpLUL45K) is not within the allowed path(s): (/home/) in [path]/admincp/template.php on line 341
[/code]

I tried different themes, but the same error with all of the themes. I dont know whats the reason?

Thanks.

You will probably also have problems uploading attachements.

You will need to set the correct info in your vB Options, you might need to consult your host for the correct settings.

I spoke with my host, and this is what they said:

"Ask the VB team to support the /tmp secured script so that it will help you or else you need to modifi the coding to suit when when the tmp is secured"

AdminCP -> vBulletin Options -> Server Settings and Optimization Options

You will need to set the correct safe mode options.

i turned "If your server runs PHP with SAFE MODE Restrictions, set this to yes." off but still the same error.

And did you also set the correct safe mode directory?
