Hey, I access my site using a proxy (don't ask) and have just noticed this.
My guess would be you have scripting disabled in your browser.

The relation is, proxies disable scripts, and when I use a proxy I get the same problem you get. Which means that the issue might be that your browser isn't supporting scripts, so therefore that's why the colour drop-down is showing as it is.
