Description

This mod changes the Who's Online to properly display locations within VBadvanced. It also changes the listing for viewers on the root of your forum from "Viewing Index" to "Viewing Forum."

Installation

vbAdvanced MUST be installed for this mod to work or bad things may happen (database errors)! Also, be sure to configure the mod within your admin cp before activating it. You may need to change some values in the configuration if you have changed your vBa and forum filenames around.

Tested on

vBulletin 3.8.3

Known Issues

- At this time, the mod assumes that your page identification parameter setup in VBA is "pageid" (the default).
- If your vBa and forum files are both named index.php (and are in seperate folders), things will probably not work for you at the moment.

Keep in mind this is my first mod submission, and I've only tested it on my VB install. I've tried to cover the bases, but I'm sure something will go wrong somewhere. Good luck :)

Hmm.. Doesn't seem to work if both the forum home and vbadvanced files use "index.php"?

That's probably true, considering the variable I am using has the path stripped off of it. I may release a small update to check the path as well...

works not for me ...
use cmps_index.php for vbadvanced and index.php for forum ...

maybe some update?

edit: mean that both index files (index.php and cmps_index.php) are in same folder (forum root)!

Or does that add a lot of overhead?

I really do not understand why serve this hack, I have installed and set up as you write, but nothing is happening everything is the same as before:confused:

Would it not make more sense to check THIS_SCRIPT?

Unfortunately, this code runs FROM the "Who's Online" page, not from the pages that people are visiting. So using THIS_SCRIPT would always indicate that everyone was viewing "Who's Online" ;)

That's how I've got it. So I tagged the mod until a solution is found before I try to install it.
Would be very nice to have this working!;)

Now how can you add support for custom pages created with vbadvanced? I have public pages I have made that guests can see before they login.

So does this support WOL for custom vba pages all types? If not, can you add this please.

THANKS!
