Hello guys,

it seems like we have a serious problem. For some reason every time I am editing a template or a product an Internal Server Error page comes up after clicking "Save":

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your requestAny idea what could be causing this?

It could be a messed up .htaccess file. Try removing it and refreshing the page.

Check your webserver error-log.

I'll check the log. Is there anything in particular I'm looking for?

disabled .htaccess already. Problem persists.

Edit the log and do a search in the file for "500"

The log didn't really reveal much. All it said was that I'm missing a 404.shtml page...

Few more questions. Could this be from file permissions?

I also tracked down one of the sources of the error. It is related to new threads. Whether one is posting a new thread, or if I'm editing the newthread template.
