Hi all,
Is it possible to make the QuickReply box at the bottom use the same full WYSIWYG editor as in the forum itself?

Do you allow your Quick Reply to be WYSIWYG (vboptions > message posting interface > first option > Quick Reply)? And do you have it set in your User CP to use the WYSIWYG editor by default (user cp > edit options)?

Thanx, I have done that, but I still only see the limited quick reply - without the extra buttons / smileys / etc.

Create a new style with no parent:
Styles & Templates > Style Manager > Add New Style
Parent Style: No Parent Style
Title: Default vBulletin
Allow User Selection: Yes
Save
Then browse the site using that totally default vbulletin style - do you still have the same problem?
If it is still happening - Try disabling your modifications/plugins and see if you still have this problem.
Note: To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit config.php and add this line right under <?php
define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true);

Hi,
I have done that, but it still doesn't show up, even with the default template.

I have just tried these settings on 2 other forums (http://www.perfectpictures.co.za & http://www.webhostingtalk.co.za) as well, and I don't get the full editor on Quick Reply there either. Is there anything else I should be doing?

OK, now I see what you want - you don't want a normal WYSIWYG Quick Reply, you want the full blown WYSIWIG editor to be in place of what is supposed to be a Quick Reply (I thought you just couldn't get the WYSIWYG editor to work in QR). Have you looked in the mods section for something like that?

Yes, that's what I'm trying to accomplish :)
I have looked, but don't know what exactly to look for, the searching for "WYSIWYG" is to broad with too many results. So, what would one call this? Searching for "quick reply" is also way too broad a term

Those are the terms I would use to search. It shouldn't be too hard to glance through the results and quickly eliminate most of the mods.
