Yes, I know it. It's not my innovation. It's a new version of FPSS. It contains all the bug fixes that make it perfect to work on vBulletin 3.8.3. I never claimed that this work is completely mine. Credits to Φώτης Ευαγγέλου (Fotis Evaggelou).

Aftewards I ensisted and I adapted it to vBulletin 3.8.x, providing full installation instruction. The script is actual free. You pay only for the styles.

Wait...since when is it free? Even since 1.6 you had to pay. Now with v2 you still need to pay. They just don't support vbulletin anymore. You have to make it work yourself, but you have to buy it first.

I'm sorry, but I don't see anywhere that says it is free.

He fixed it and it works for the latest vB. He's giving it away for free in this thread. The pro version just has more styles.

So I think it's a worthwhile mod and people are interested.

I honestly still don't see a free version anywhere on their site.

He does say that the owner is a friend and has given him the right to publish this and also profit from it...hopefully this is true...

You will NOT find any support on Joomla Works. So that's the way I didn't refer to it. Support is only give here, for users who installed this add-on.

I bought the frontpage slide show. I am pretty sure they give you a version for vBulletin. I will check into it later and let you guys know.

PS. I have it running on the site I have in my sig. I have not tried on vbulletin yet, but there is a version for vb. When you buy it you get like 4-5 different versions for like drupal, vbulletin, and other php type scripts. You also get about 8 or so themes that come with it. Its a great product for a great price.

I was the one to develop the original version for Fotis. I can tell you that it's a site killer, that's why I dropped it and developed another one with no queries, compare to that one which adds one query per image.

I had to pay for my copy of Joomla Works, and in the folder that I downloaded it included Vbulletin. It wasn't available for free.

He's right. I bought it, and I couldn't use it, since when I place it on my forum, that it's a big one, took my sever down inmediatly.

But maybe it's a great addon for very small sites.

what version of vbulletin are you running. I'm running 3.8.3 and I had it running GREAT! It's off right now because of a special banner I had to place on it, but it works for me. Sorry to hear it isn't for you.

Last few months I was reading a bit about slideshow options for vb and I must say that most of them were hard to install and make it work...this seems to be quite easy to install

I have been using the 1.6 non plugin version on my site forever and it has worked thru all the upgrades. I paid for the original Joomla version and I don't understand why there is a Lite/Paid version here.

I've had this mod installed from Joomla for a while but it's been deactivated because I got it working but It shows the slideshow between my header and the Login box??

EDIT: I fixed my problem...I just turned the actual plugin off..why did I never think of that a long time ago..
