Force Announcement read

Is it possible to force a user to read an announcement before they start a new thread in a specific forum?

You can display a notice, but you can't force someone to read it. :rolleyes:

You might check into Javascript popups for this, and insert the script you choose into the newthread template.

I would think you could possibly add a timer on the script as well
