Had something very interesting happen today . A member requested a very harsh anti obama teeshirt from our tee shirt vendor in a private message , with in hours the tee shirt vendors home phone rings and its Special Agent ect.... very firmly suggested that ,said shirt does not get made or it would be detrimental to his business, I talked to both parties involved and the PM was the only communication here.

I have contacted my host and they said that they will not allow "content monitoring" with out court order and that they are at liberty to notify me if that's the case , and that there is currently No monitoring of content on my server .

So here we are .....

Can the government intercept internet communications w/o access to the server or end users computer , and if so could they have search engines searching content as it travels from ISP's?

they can do what they want as far as I'm concerned, if you worried about it, host your sites in another country
and if I was the vendor, I would make the shirt and sell it anyways, depending on what the shirt site.. as long as it isn't like "Kill the president" it should be covered in free speach

can u pm me a link to the shirt? :)
and in that case, the vendor shouldn't of made the design in the first place, or move offshore

They didn't want to make the shirt. Instead of saying so they made this up.

Probably didn't want his company to be known with slander.

Im "partners" with the vendor we talk daily he does it full time , i dont ... He never replied to the pm , and the vendor called me immediately after the Phone call from the agent .

I dont need anymore infractions so if this is wrong please delete it

Ill Censor it .. This is the PM..

This is gonna be a weird one i guarantee ya...i want a one off shirt and if you dont want to make it i completely understand because of the nature of it all...

I want one with a picture of Obama and some how incorporate a noose with the words around the pic that says "Lets Lynch us a N####r"...

Once again if you dont want to print something like that i would understand, but if its not a problem let me know and see some proofs...

Thanks

First off that person is ++++ed and needs to find a life.

Second like I said the vendor didn't want to make the shirt. Why would any vendor want to make that shirt?

He wasnt going to make the shirt , he never even had time to decline before the deal was "intercepted"

this isnt about the shirt its about the fact that obviously the government monitors ISP's somehow because there not on his computer or my server

Years ago I ordered 8 foot banners from canada , i told them to ship it to my name and not diesel bombers , well they stamped Diesel Bombers on the Long Cardboard tube ...needless to say when it hit the us border it was diverted to the embassy and got all dog knotted up for 3 weeks , and after a few phone calls i got it and there was only 1 banner at $180 there was suppose to be 3 of them so i got ripped off at one of the random opening at the border or embassy . this is the main reason why i went ? , Diesel Bombers? looks legit on over seas shipments and they can just check the registry and let my stuff threw

No, see what I am saying is this vendor of yours made the whole thing up. They don't want stuff like this requested and they didn't want to just say no.

They read the PM and then just made everything up from there so they don't look like the bad guy. Probably get some press while at it...

The US Government could monitor the individual user's internet communications through the user's ISP. If the person in question had already raised the attention of the Secret Service, you can bet that they're "tapping" him.

Looks like this bigoted moron is probably being monitored by the feds. Hate Crimes have a tendency to step all over first amendment rights now. I am surprised that they gave the shirt vendor a heads up on it rather than busting him after he did the shirt.

Not the case , he lives 5 mins away from me , he flat out told me he wasnt going to do it before the phone call anyway
