I wanted to make a free style that was as good as any paid style. This is what I came up with. This was made for 3.8.3, but should work fine with any 3.8.x version of vBulletin.

Demo: http://www.diondev.com/vbdev/index.php?styleid=2

This style is w3c valid, has rounded corners, a web 2.0 feel, and more. Please see attached screenshot below, or visit the demo site if you want to have a look.

Quick install guide:

1. Download the zip file from the ddGreyArea vB.org thread.
2. Upload the entire "ddgreyarea" folder to your main vbulletin "images" folder on your server.
3. In the vBulletin admin area, go to Styles & Templates -> Download / Upload Styles -> browse for the "ddgreyarea.xml" file and then click "Import".
4. Activate the style through your Style Manager, apply it to your forums, etc.

Thats it! If you have any problems, please post them in this thread and I'll help you ASAP. Please notify me if you find any bugs so that I can fix them immediately.

PSD files included in the zip.

Please consider donating via paypal to donations@diondev.com before removing the Dion Dev branding in the footer. Thank you.

Make the background on the logo transparent.

I think he meant he wanted a thanks button. If it's okay, Dion, I just made one quickly. If you don't want me to attach it, I'll remove it. If you want, you can attach it to your first post if you desire.

Hi

I really like this style.

How easy would it be to make this style fluid? something like 90% width?

Thanks

You can add a home button in the template editor. In the header template.

Hi DionDev,

I love this style.

Is a version planned for the vB4? That would be PERFECT :-)

TIA

Yes, this is a very good template that I've used. Please, if possible, port to vB4.
