new vb forum, need help on some things

hello, i need some help on my vbulletin forum:

1) how do i change the default sorting settings? now the default visualization is only thread not older than 1 month.. i want to set to " Beginning"
2) how do i remove the usercp panel? do i have to edit the template?

All of those settings are in your AdminCP under vBulletin Options

solved sorting: Admin CP -> Forums & Moderators -> Modify -> [edit]
any suggestions on how to remove Forum Main Menu? i mean this one: User CP Help Chat Members List New Posts Quick Links Log Out

You need to edit the navbar template to do that. Note that some custom styles have the navigation menu in the header instead
