Hello.

I'm working on mod and I don't know am I allowed to use part of vB code?

In file I see:
|| # Copyright ©2000-2009 Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd. All Rights Reserved. ||
|| # This file may not be redistributed in whole or significant part. # ||
|| # ---------------- VBULLETIN IS NOT FREE SOFTWARE ---------------- # ||

But mod works only with vB - so works only for people who have license - so can I use part of vB code?

Thats not code. Thats just the copyright statement in the file

Thanks - I would never think about it... It is obvious! Please read again - with understanding this time ;)

So you want to use the copyright in your code? Or code from the vb files in your code?

So you want to use the copyright in your code? Or code from the vb files in your code?

It is clearly written:
"I'm working on mod and I don't know am I allowed to use part of vB code"

This means that I want to use part of vB code.

But I don't know do I'm allowed to use that code because:
"In file I see:
|| # Copyright ?2000-2009 Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd. All Rights Reserved. ||
|| # This file may not be redistributed in whole or significant part. # ||
|| # ---------------- VBULLETIN IS NOT FREE SOFTWARE ---------------- # ||"

Something else to explain :p

Well, yes. Of course you can use the vB code. Most code/mods couldn't be written if we weren't allowed to use that code

Actually you are NOT allowed to use that fragment. You wrote the modification, not Jelsoft.

He's not talking about using the copyright text, he was pointing out what the copyright text said. A lot of the confusion in this thread was over his posting that copyright text.
