I found that it's quite a pain to have to actually go into a users profile just to find the link to edit their profile via the ACP or ModCP.

This modification adds a link to the dropdown menu that is ONLY visible to the users who would be able to access the ACP or MODCP.

By default, the link is added under "View User Profile", and named "Edit User Profile", but these can be easily changed with simple HTML knowledge. This modification works with both Postbit AND Postbit Legacy.

There are a few key differences between my version of this modification and daPLAYBOY's version. His modification is ONLY displayed to the Administrator usergroup, not to everybody who can access either the ACP or ModCP.

Please note, support will only be given in this thread and to users who clicked install!

Isn't this already a defaulted option w/ 3.8?

I'm running the latest version and it was never a default, you had to go to the profiles to edit users.

Wrong. Not available in vBulletin options. Good work, UltimateOreo ;)

It kind of is, except you have to navigate to the user's profile to get the link. This is meant for
"the on-the-go administrator" of today!

Thanks for a great mod. I tried postbit and then found that postbit_legacy worked. Not sure how I could have known this but this was the best 7 minutes I've spent in a long time.
