Is it ok to change what the forum footer copyright says From:

Powered by vBulletin? Version 3.8.3
Copyright ?2000 - 2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.

To

Forums powered by vBulletin? Version 3.8.3
Copyright ?2000 - 2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.

The reason I'm asking is that I'm integrating vBulletin into another existing site, and I didn't really want to put a copyright for vbulletin covering the entire site, however it looks better to me if it says Forums powered by, rather then the entire website being powered by

Anyway I'm just asking if this is possible (mainly because I'm putting it into a global footer because when i use the forum footer it puts it in a whacky location.

Sure, I think that's fine, you're keeping the existing copyright information and adding something to it which is perfectly accurate.

And if you wanted to know, the minimum you can have is:
vBulletin?, Copyright ?2000 - 2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.

I'll have to disagree. CAN have? you CAN have a no branding license.

What? He was wondering if he can add something to the copyright, not remove it. And I think that the vbulletin team would understand if, for the boards safety, you need to delete the version NUMBER. I think they are mainly concerned about people just taking the copyright off and claiming it as their own forum software.

Good. I was hoping I can delete the file version so script kids won't go searching for the forum version I have and look for exploits
