Spacing forums apart

I want to put each part of my forum spaced apart, like the forums on vb.org has the gab between each forum catagory group

How can i do it? Ive been told its a "mod" but its a simple template edit? I cant seem to find it :(

Check out the template FORUMHOME and work around the sub templates of this. The forumhome_forumbit_level1... for starters
