Is it possible to have a mix of this layout and the standard layout on different categories?

Cool idea. You could consider including a custom forum icon / image for each forum. It would look better.

Has anyone installed this and can show us a demo?
This seems very interesting and I'd like to see it in action.
Also, I agree that we'd need an option for custom forum icon / images for each forum.

Hi, really like this, but have problem with them not all being the same size once added, i added the sub-forum code like you put in ur 2nd post. But the boxes dont show up like ur screenshots.
Any ideas?
Also would like to have the Last Post Info in there too if possible :)
Thanks

hmm it will be verry nice if its possible to make only one category in this style and if possible to add own icons to the categorys

yeah i would definitely use if i could use only for one main area on forumhome and not my entire forumhome in this style
can't be that hard to do

This "developer" hasn't been online here since December 2009. I doubt we'll hear back from him/her.

yeah but shouldn't it be as easy as taking the code from the last part of the install instructions
and instead of replacing everything in the forumhome_forumbit_level2_post
with the code listed.....use an if / then conditional......if forum ID = 2,3,4
then use new code......
otherwise......normal forumhome_forumbit_level2_post
at least i would think so
