So I am wanting to do a fresh install of vBulletin. I am wanting to keep the images and all of my members. Want to get rid of all of the hacks and even some that still show up that I cant delete from the ACP (from a Server Crash).
What files do I need to keep so that I do not lose all of my members or my pictures/images ???
Thanks in advance for any assistance in doing this ...

Images = Your images directory or any skin file.
To keep your members and posts you need to make a backup of your sql database.

you could create your fresh copy of vbulletin and copy all your post, members, threds usergroups etc using the impex system available in your members area over at vb.com.

If I am not mistaken your SQL database will keep some of the hacks that you installed.
