Avatars have changed into links

Can anyone tell me what I need to change to get the users' avatars back to pictures instead of having them as links to the respective user's profile as they are at the moment. I've no idea what changed them into links but it was clearly something I did by accident...

it changed them into link cause u probably changes the avatar path to the files or moved the folder in the server .....
