Trying to pull some database info to my home page

I'd like to have threads from my main forum show up in a box on my home page. Is this possible?

But I'm trying to make it cleaner and easier to use. I'd like the 5 most recent posts to show up on that page. Is that possible? I'm not sure where to look for the code.

Yes its possible but why not use the vbulletin advanced CMPS. Its easier to use and its already integrated with the forums.

I can put the advanced CMPS on the home page, which is not a vB or .php page? That might work...
