Some common search words such as IP, ban, etc can't be searched for due to them not having 4 characters. Is it possible to get such terms added to the search list so they can be searched for anyway?

It's difficult to find threads sometimes because descriptive 3 character or less words can't be searched for. Often times these are the only descriptive words in the title of these hacks.

We cant do that, vb.org uses the mysql search, that list is only used by the old vb search system.

How else would you suggest we search for certain things like this? Is it impossible? I was looking for some PM related hacks just a minute ago and realized that's another term that doesn't work.

Search for PM* (best to choose the titles only option as well)

Private Messages have their own prefix in the modifications forums. You can search for it using that method.

you can add the wildcard fix lile Paul mentioned

if you're looking for a mod you can narrow it down by type, of which private messaging is one

you can always search "pm" site:vbulletin.org in google, or a specific subforum

Google searches usually work best for me here, using this method.
