350Mb is nothing special. I am running a forum that has a backup of more then 20Gb.

Just a note, I tried to tell the creators of the Mod here --> https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=217329

THAT, some hosts limit DB sizes... you already have one that equals 350mb so I doubt your host does but consider your users and posts counts ;) so that seems the norm but I help run a gaming tournament so we have never have tons of users plain and simple due to the fact we delete inactive users and posts once they get so old to maintain army numbers and accurate counts all around for battledays etc... We're gamers lol, what can I say :p.

Not everyone needs or wants a huge DB but that depends on what type of forums you run and how "active" you want your site to be by using SEO and other methods like the mod above.

Just a side note to any future passers-by to be aware of w/ their host.

Hmm, Sounds rather big. I have a database with 90k members, and around 100k posts, and that's only 90mb.

Number of members, and even the number of posts is not a reliable indicator for the DB size. A lot of factors like the size of posts, the number & size of attachments etc, make a greater difference.

Well that mod uses an independent database so you could come up with work around. Also, if you cant handle it dont use it.
