Default Display Options

The default "display options" on my site are :

1. not saving when i change them.
2. not set to show all threads no matter the post date

i cant seem where to find a way to set these defaults in the admin panel. maybe im blind.

You need to add the selected attribute to whatever option you want to be the default.

theres no way to edit the defaults in the template or with vbulletin options? I dont believe "Tags" will be doing what i want.

You set those options per forum in the Forum Manager. Select the forum there, and then there are two options - Forum Sort By and Forum Sort Order.
