by the Admin without logging in?

No to the first, If your not logged in as an admin and you chose that admin's are the only ones who can see it then it will remain that way.

I can't find where to make Private Forums viewable by Admin(s).

Forum Manager > find the forum in the list > click on Admin usergroup and give them permission to see it. You should make sure all other usergroups can't see it first by clicking on Deny All.

Also, go to ACP -> Users -> Find Users -> Edit yourself -> Edit Forum Permissions (Access masks) -> All Yes -> Save.

I'm sorry I believe I'm confused and/or I explained myself incorrectly.

Right now there are Private Forums. Any member that signs in can see them.

So, if I sign in I can see them.

There's no way I can see them if I'm not signed in correct?

I think I explained it as an Admin 'only' forum which is not the case.

My thinking was as an Admin how can I view the Private Forums w/o signing in. Which I think is impossible?

If I understood you correctly, I think you want guests to see it?

I think he wants Guests to NOT see it.

Go to the Forum Manager and find the forum and click on the Unregistered Users group (can also do for COPPA and Users Awaiting Email if you want also, but not necessary) and then give them no permissions for the forum.

LOL...

I think he wants it to be a private forum, so guests can't see it, but he wants to be able to view it w/o logging in.

Am I right?

Basically, if you're not logged in, you're considered a guest. No matter who it is. So if guests can't see your forums, then you have to log in.

That's what I think he's saying.

I think I understand what you are saying. Guests (not logged in or unregistered) cannot view this forum. But you'd like to yourself without having to log in, right (and only you or an admin)? As far as I'm aware, that isn't possible because if you're not logged in, there's no way for vBulletin to know that you're an admin and not just a guest. Unless maybe there is some mod, or one was created, that allowed you to set permissions per IP address.

What is the reason that you'd want this? You just don't want the hassle of logging in? Or is it that you don't want users to see that you're online? If it's the second reason, you could always set your self to 'invisible.' Or, create another admin account that displays as a regular member.
