Auto Resizing Options

Hi there, I have noticed on some forums that when you put an attachment on a thread, the picture automatically re sizes to a certain size if its too big.

How do I apply this to my forum?

admincp --> vbulletin options --> message attachment options --> thumbnail size

The above does not resize "linked" images.
