This is my first time installing vBulletin forums. I am being instructed by the manual that Jelsoft has provided. I uploaded it already, configuring the config.php file to the settings it requires. I get a database error while entering my site. My site is projectbobba.com

You need to re-check your information for the database login in your config.php file and make sure that it is correct

It sounds like either you don't have the correct username/password set up for your database, or you didn't give that username the correct permissions for the database.

Who set up your database? If it was your host, then get that info from them. If it was you, then don't you have that info?

I do. I edited the config.php to the settings the MySQL database is, and I yet still get an error.

Then you should ask your host for help. Maybe there is a prefix that you need to enter. Or maybe it isn't localhost.
