Whenever its the birthday of a member of my board, for some reason that member gets not 1, not 2, but ALOT of emails!
When i say alot, the last member that complained said they recieved over 50 emails!
Im pretty sure its something to do with scheduled tasks, but ive got no idea what to change
Any help will be great

Well, "a lot" could mean a multitude of things. For a frustrated user, 5 e-mails can equate to "a lot".
Anyways, go to: AdminCP -> Scheduled Tasks -> Scheduled Task Manager.
Search for, "Birthdays" and tell me what you see to the left of it. There should be some numbers. A screenshot is preferred.
Also, just in case you may have played around with those settings, navigate to: AdminCP -> Scheduled Tasks -> Scheduled Task Log, and set these filters:
Log Entries to Show Per Page - 100
Show Only Entries Generated By - Birthday
Order By - Date
... and post a screenshot of what comes up. :)

Can you please tell me what the settings SHOULD be just to send out the email once as i dont like providing screenshots

Well, for the first one, this should give you an idea: 100476
For the second, just see if the the "Birthdays" action was done multiple times on a single day. You should be able to see just by looking at the log.

well on the birthdays schedule, mine had ALL stars, but ive set it so it has the "0" like the screenshot

Yes, but you need to check the log (step two, posted above) to see if the birthday e-mail was sent multiple times.

I just looked at the log & yes
The same member was emailed on the same date multiple times
