Basic Site Goal

360-tourney.com opened on 6/1/09 & is geared towards bringing together all xbox 360 gamers alike. The site offers paid tournaments (no registration fee's) & a ladder system that also offers free prizes. We hope to help others meet new friends & go beyond just the xbox experiance.

What we would like to get out of your review today

I am looking for reviews on the layout of the forum. Specifically the user friendly feel. When you first visit the site, what draws your attention? Are you easily aware of the up & coming events? Can you easily find the tournament system &/or the ladder? If you were an xbox gamer, does this site make you feel "at home"? Do we provide enough information to get you started as a new user?



In all honesty, the site just opened. We are working our butts off to get proper advertisement out so please do not be harsh on the member count. We are open to any & all feedback.

I thought everything was easy to find and the layout is ok. My only concern at this point is the forum is different than your other pages.

The site is starting to grow now in member count & in content. Your reviews are needed now more than ever!

You're limiting how many reviews you'll get if you close off part of your forum's content to non members. From what I can see, it looks less than half finished. The front page doesn't seem to serve any purpose at the moment, and the fact it couldn't look more different to your forum is just confusing, especially as what working links you have on there open in a new window. It looks like two sites to me.

With regard to the forum (again, on the bits I can see) it just looks like a regular forum. I can't really give you any comment on the skin since you didn't create any of it. Due to the logo size, guest welcome message, achievement bits etc, all of your actual forum content is off screen for me. I'd suggest trimming that down a bit, maybe add some side columns.

Without sounding too harsh, I don't really like any of it. I wish you all the best with it though.

I can not take any of your feedback in a negative way as I simply asked for eveeryones opinion.

The site itself is not locked to guests. I however can't allow users to play in a ladder or tournament system as a guest because it will simply cause confusion. This is the only portion that is closed.

The achievement bit was just added & will not be visible to guests shortly. This will greatly reduce the page view to 1 simple message.

Thank you for your feedback once again. Shortly after I update the themes & pages, I will create a post for secondary review.
