New Advisors

As some of you may be aware, since Lynne got promoted to Moderator we have not had any members of our advisors group. Therefore we have recently invited a couple of members to join.

Redlinemotorsports (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/member.php?u=112877) was a former advisor who had to leave for a while, now he is able to return to the site we are delighted to welcome him back.

UKBusinessLive (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/member.php?u=271420) is a relativly new member of vb.org, but since joining has been extremely helpful and we are pleased to welcome him as an advisor also.

Advisors can be spotted by their bold green usernames, and are also listed at the bottom of the staff page (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/info.php?do=staff).

Ohh man, sorry Redline, I OVER thanked Gerry lol and forgot about you bud!

Maybe the reason for that on my part is... Just in case some do not know...

I have known UK since he came on board here and feel he deserves this! I mean if some of you are just browsing and have never bothered to learn some of the sites history... please realize that since he started, he has consistently released mod after mod after mod and he supports them ALL, plus has written some articles and posted up some free graphics. I do know someone who gives so freely and uses much of his time deserves this just like the rest of the admins and moderators on here who most likely have day or night jobs AND maintain the forums :p so please, big round of applause for the staff here including the two new advisors Redline and of course one hello of a site contributor in my opinion, UKBL!!!!!!!!

Thanks again for all your Congrats :D I would just like to say a little something if i may, I did not know Brooks (Redline) from when he was an advisor here before but what i do know is that he's had time out serving his country in the Military.

I was in the British Army for 13 years so i know first hand what a great honour it is to serve your country throughout the world.

Lets also remember that a lot of our boys and girls went out there never to return, they made the ultimate Sacrifice. The ones that do return are hero's in my eyes, and its an honour to work beside them. :D

Its because of people like them that we owe our Freedom and Democracy!!

Hi, Advisors are like Site helpers they, they help and advise to the best of their knowledge for the good of the community ;)

Plus its a stepping stone to other positions, so its a great way to start.

We don't have any special Powers as such but we have our own hangout where we drink coffee all day :D

They did with the original Advisors.

The biggest amendment to our hierarchy is the addition of the Advisors group. This group is a means to allow members of vBulletin.org who display a strong sense of community spirit, participation, and skill to be publicly rewarded with an Advisor title for their efforts and, more importantly, to be on continual evaluation for promotion to the Moderator group. We hope to continually add members who display a friendly, courteous, and skillful attitude throughout the community to this group.
