I love these styles, they work perfect for my forum. I have only one problem, the catagories and post seperators do not line up... I don't have this problem with other styles. Is there a way to fix this? I am using Dark Blue fixed. I haven't changed anything on the style.

Also when you add a notice to your forum, it cuts off the top of one of the areas.

Also when you go into one of your forums, the top of the forum area is also missing or cut off. Its doing it on all pages, new thread, reply to post etc...

I'm having a problem with this style set. I have the Sidebar plugin installed and when i go to a thread, the sidebar displays below the thread rather than beside it. It displays fine everywhere else though. Any idea how to fix it? In the default vBulletin style it displays on the thread properly.

The sidebar adds itself after "$ad_location[ad_footer_start]" in the footer.

Ah thanks for pointing out the templates that were causing the problem.

I removed everything from both those templates and now the sidebar displays properly. I see what you mean by it affecting the style, the white background is no longer there. But for me, the sidebar is more important than the white background.

If you install a mod that requires template modifications and then you install a new style, you must edit your new style to apply these modifications.

My members have alerted me to an issue after installing this style.

They said that when using your style, their subscribed threads have disappeared. Yet when they go back to our default style (not yours) the threads come back.

Any suggestions? Got me stumped!

Go on your admincp >> Styles & Templates >> Styles Manager >> CA Evo DarBlue : Main CSS (Go) >> At the bottom of this page, you have "Additional CSS Definitions"

In the first field, find the CSS Class "navbar-row"

It's not possible. No images are displayed on your forum.

You must have this on your server: forum/images/ca_evo2_red
ca_evo2_red folder must be into the images folder. Have you this? :)

Humm, it's possible but if you want to have a large logo, you must re-create header images, like this: http://www.ilskywarn.com/forum/images/ca_evo2_red/misc/logo_bg.gif. You can use the PSD or you must reduce your logo

Your styles don't include these blog graphics so I copied that folder into your ca_evo_pblue/misc folder. Would I have to do this for each of your styles?

Great Style jut what I was looking for!

I problem with the Nav bar - take a look at millenniumdivers.org which is running Default style with a small mod to the Nav template.

You can switch to CA EVO the usual way and I lose my nav bar and it reinstates the original default. I had thought I could just make the same mods to the CA Evo nav style but having looked at it i'm not sure (I'm still very new to programming)

Any suggestions?

I suggest more space after the QUOTE tag. The default style has enough space after the quote so that you don't have to put a blank line after it. But with your style such a post appears without enough space.

I'm sorry, but you can't do that, simply because I use different StyleVars for each style. All images are not in the same folder and have the same name. Misc, Statusicon, buttons ... are different
Moreover, I use remplacement var which contains images URL.

When I download and use other styles, links are automatically generated for mods. Dark blue (possible others) does not. According to this post (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showpost.php?p=1857704&postcount=856), please insert the template hooks that are also in the original vBulletin templates.

I love these styles, they work perfect for my forum. I have only one problem, the catagories and post seperators do not line up... I don't have this problem with other styles. Is there a way to fix this? I am using Dark Blue fixed. I haven't changed anything on the style.

The style can be improved - if one of the posts is wider than the others, the default style shows only that one post wider, the other posts are with normal width, that way one post can not change the layout of the other posts.

Also the HTML quote code does not work with IE 6.

Actually, I found something which I don't think has been answered yet. Some people were having a problem with a gap between the forum description (if enabled) and the navigation breadcrumbs. I found the cause of that was an unnecessary line break.

In the header template, find:

How do you modify the .psd file to put your own forum name? I've added my forum name using Photoshop and I save as a .gif but the header image is now too big on my forum page. For some reason it isn't using the same dimensions as the original logo.gif. It is also saying that I don't have the Triplex Bold font.

I am using vba 3.2.1 and the style isn't working properly. Please see the attached photo.

I fixed the problem on my own. For those of you that have this problem, here is the resolution. You need to go into the style manager for the theme and modify the CSS properties. You need to put http://www.yourdomain.com/... before every url CSS property. There is an additional CSS box at the bottom of style manager that wasn't updated properly which is why I wasn't seeing my navbar background images. They all said url(images/.../...). They need to say url(http://www.yourdomain.com/images/forum/.. or wherever your images folder is.

I'm having a problem with parent/child styles.

I have set the "Blue" style as the default. Then I uploaded the rest of the color varieties, and set them as "children" of the blue style. (You can see this in the style selector: http://www.talkparrots.com/index.php)

However, the problem is that when I update the parent style (blue), the change isn't made in all of the children styles (the other colors). You can see on the site that I added "test" to the footer in the default style, but if you switch to one of the children styles, the change isn't reflected.

I have a problem ..
I want to rename folder name 'ca_evo_gray' folder because I am going to duplicate this style (one of them will be RTL for arabic).
when I rename this folder and replace 'ca_evo_gray' with 'ca_evo_gray2' in ca-evo-gray-fluid.xml I get this error

The issue with auto template edits not working is due to the navigation bar being placed in the header template not in the navbar/breadcrumb template.

Unfortunately manual edits are required for this skin :(

Sofia these are great. I'm using a few of the colors on a new forum I'm working on.
If possible, when you think about adding more colors, could you please add more muted or soft colors?

I ask because my new forum is a support forum for autism, aspergers syndrome and ADHD. For many people with these disorders, bright colors hurt their eyes, and sometimes cause physical reactions. So softer colors would most certainly be appreciated, and used, by me.

Question:
I want to change the LOGO, I use the PSD file to edit the logo to what I want.
How do I get the logo on the website like it is in the PSD?

Deafault the logo is a small logo, 67px high if I put in a bigger logo it will go out of the header.

EDIT: think I got it, you have to cut out the logo, but take the line with it.. though job to do.. ideas?

EDIT2: lol.. got it, cutting the canvas size by pixel is easyer then using the cut tool.. (yeah, photoshop noob) :D

The notices issue isn't resolved for me, any time I have a dismissable notice clicking the x just gets rid of the message, but the notice title and border remains, I've checked a few templates colour options and it seems to be across the board.

Okay this is my problem I install a new style day before yesterday and what I did is delete my old styles... Everything seemed to be working excellent on the new style until I ran to a small problem up on the right-hand under the login box when I get a notification it shows one notification but when I try to click on it to get the drop down menu is not clickable in other words it shows the notifications but for some reason now it does not allow the drop down menu to be activated like it used to... here is the code for it...

Have you set it as the chosen theme in your control panel?
