User birthday

I made the birthday and gender mandatory at registration, but I wanted it to be displayed for EVERYONE in the members list... Only the members who want it displayed have it displayed, I want ALL of them displayed

anyone know what to do?

I'm bumping this as I'd like to see it too.

I've noticed that present incarnations of vb are currently set to hide the birthday by default - and the option to change this only appears after the member has registered.

So, I'd like to find a way of changing this. Thanks :)

Showing a birthdate is considered as privacy sensitive info and the choice should be made by the user.

I agree to an extent, but that choice is not available on registration and is off by default - I'd like to make that default to "on" and the box to change that option available at registration.

Joining any website is a choice, and if they don't like the privacy choices nobody is forcing them to sign up.
