Sorry if i cant explain this well. Im not completly versed in vB lingo yet ;) im an IPB convert :D

Anyways i have a custom header installed on all my themes but in the notification area (login box) when a member has a PM, picture comment, etc, etc. there are no options in the drop down. ive attached a cpl screen caps as examples. any ideas where id find the template to edit. Im guessing since its custom i could be out of luck. but figured it cant hurt to ask.

This is what its doing now!

I'm not sure what you mean. In the image, it shows you have one unread picture comment, yet you are saying the options aren't showing (but they are in the image)?

The first screen cap is what its doing. Nothing clickable with no options. the second screen cap shows how it should behave and what im trying to get it back to. Pic 1, is a new theme. pic 2 is my older theme (not parent) witch is working correctly.

Ahh, I see! Sorry for not seeing that.

Notifications are using in the navbar template. You can find the template by doing this - vboptions > General Settings > Add Template Name in HTML Comments > set to Yes . Then go back to your page and view the source code and you will see the name of the template called around your part of the code. Sometimes the template is the one mentioned at the very top of the page source.

Once you find the template, compare the code in the non-working one to the working one.
