What is it ?
It's another game for your vBulletin called Sudoku. You don't know what a Sudoku is ? try GOOGLE.

Does it works with vBcredits / vBbux ?
Yes of course. The game will automatically detect if one of those mods are installed (see image no.4).

How does it works ?
You can choose between 4 different levels (easy, middle, hard and evil). For each sudoku, you will get a time (those are also the points) - see image no. 4. Each seconds the score will decrase by 1.
Each mistake will cost you 100 points (default setting).
The goal is to finish the sudoku as fast as you can. A started Sudoku MUST be finished !

This game used 3rd party routines from:

Also editing 40+ usergroups takes so much time and effort. There needed to be an easier way to give people permission or not permission to play this.

also in the high scores page, what does Los in English mean?

I know, that it's an "rectangle" - the width will generated automatically.

Permission are always set in "usergroups" - that's the easiest way.

A couple of things. I can't seem to find any settings such as in the 4th screenshot. I have vBCredits installed.

The other is, well, it looks like my Usergroup settings are truncated. Is there supposed to be only one yes/no setting with no title?

In AdminCP - the "Credit Settings" are only avaible if:

vBCredits, vBBux/VBPlaza or my own Asset Mod

is installed. Did you see those settings ?

Well, that's weird. Everything is uploaded. cpnav file and all the others are there. But nothing called PhP Unlimited. I downloaded it a couple of times and installed twice, so not sure on this one. Maybe I'm still sleepy.

EDIT: Just tried adding your other two game add-ons. Still no PHP Unlimited in ACP. Are they just not detecting it for some reason?

I have PHP unlimited showing up, and under that I have only Sudoku 2009. I click on that, but it only shows me the settings and nothing for the vbplaza credits which it should be detecting automatically since I have vbplaza installed.

2nd. I have memebrs saying the look is weird and confusing. It needs to be made more square they say, as it is too rectangle and confusing.

For the "rectagle" you can change the template "sudoku_play"

search for:

OK, had to install this one to. Never played this game till now. Love it! The above code works great to and makes it much easier to play.

No. "Shop Preise" eng. Shop Prices is needed for the german Mod, to see what cost how much.

For vBCredits or vBplaza there are two (hidden) options.

1st.) is this mod installed and not disabled
2nd.) is it enabled

This is not really a bug. Sometimes there are more the one solution for sudoku.

Before starting a sudoku,
the users sudoku will generated and also the finished ones.

I'll check the numbers from both and if there's a mistake but the sudoku is finished ...

Great mod. I have translated in Romanian the file.
The improved rules and a picture more clear to understand (I have google for rules since I have not know the rules before this mod) is attached in zip file.
Use what you prefere.
I have deleted 2009 from the link since I don't have space on navbar. Hope is no problem.

NOTE: If you have UTF-8 ecoding you need to change in language file 2 times ISO... encoding to UTF-8
Uploaded files are with original ISO encoding. If you keep this and encoding is UTF-8 it will display without special characters.

The xml file i worked on only fixed some of the wording and i took out the "2009" and i added in my custom money system name.
but i can post it if you still want it.

You have to set your Administrator Permissions too. Not the permissions in the Administrator usergroup, but the Administrator Permissions at the bottom of that same menu.

There are none after that. You set your personal permissions to Can Administer and then look for your PhP Unlimited menu. It won't show until you set that, as I discovered the hard way.

So I figured it all out and now had everything working for the past three days.

Then today I go on to check the high scores for the Easy Level, I get a database error. Just earlier today it was showing scores now I can't see them. It says:

sudoku_tpl4 should be "A random puzzle will be created based on the selected level."

sudoku_tpl9 should be "Every row, column or box must contain only one of each digit."

sudoku_tpl13 should be "Each second, the score will be decreased by 1 point."

sudoku_tpl15 should be "If one or more numbers are submitted incorrectly, your score will be decreased by"

sudoku_tpl29 should be "If a number is submitted incorrectly, your score will be decreased by"

sudoku_tpl14 should be "Show High Scores"


By the way, is there a brand-free option for this?

There is only ONE solution for each puzzle. When the puzzle is created, the solution will stored into the database and compare with the user solution.
You need exactely the same solution as stored into the database.

And no, there's no Branding Free version.

Coroner, the solution was reached and the high score was still not added to the "High Scores" page for the middle game. It worked with 'easy', but not with 'middle'.

I upgraded to PHP 5 and the game works just fine but then I can't get to the User CP. If I revert back to PHP 4, I can get to the User CP but the game won't work. Is anyone else having this issue? Just to let you and the author know, I completed a 'middle' game last night and the database returned the high score record correctly. This was the first time, out of perhaps 4 or 5 completions, that the 'middle' score showed up.

I don't know why, but I am now getting database errors. This used to work perfect. Maybe the new Credits modification is causing a conflict or something.
