How do i make an index template

Hi All

Need a little help here.. I know that there is a template or product out there that can be uploaded to make an index page, Page where i can showcase "Car of the Month", Welcome letter, Top posters, whos currently on line etc..

But for the life of me i just cant find it..

Can anyone please point me in the right direction?

Sounds about right, Used it on a forum before, but was already set up... How do i go about setting it up?
