View Full Version : Possible to store and block IP's that come in from certain website?

There is forum that has a thread about our forum. Their members are incited to check out our forum and troll us with spam and highly offensive posts.
Is there anyway to track the IPs when a visitor comes directly from that forum, and then add them to the list of blocked IPs so that they can't even register? Or I may want to put them on Tacky status.

Im looking for the same thing to be done in my board as well

I made an .htaccess file that forwards users following links from a particular domain (referrer) to a custom "Go away" page I made- obviously they can get around this by simply copying and pasting the link in their browser so there is no referrer but that is annoying and most people won't be bothered. https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=246181
