I've seen some things on forums that I visit that I'd like to use on my own. The only problem is that I'm not sure what to call them and don't know where to look to find out. One thing I like that I've seen is that instead of displaying 'members' and 'guests' a forum will display 'Players' and 'NPC'. How is this done? I've gone through and tried going through the templates of my various skins, but I've turned up nothing. The other I'm sure I can find if I search hard enough, so I'm not too worried about it.

Post screenshots in this section or good descriptions of what you see/want in this section.

AdminCP -> Languages & Phrases -> Search in Phrases
Search for Text: members
Product: vbulletin
Search in ... Phrase Variable Name Only
Exact Match Yes

Click Find

Click Edit next to phrase

English (US) Translation (Optional): Players

Click Save

Do same again but for phrase guests

Sorry for not being descriptive enough.

On the forum home, where the tab for What's Going On?is displayed, rather than show how many members or guests are online, it displays how many Players or NPCs are online.

For Example:

What's Going On?
Currently Active Users: 7 (3 Players and 4 NPCs)

I did what you recommended, but they're still being displayed as members and guests.

Edit: They're still displayed as guests and members on the forum home, but guests are displayed as the variable I defined on the Who's Online page.

If you did as bananalive said (searched for "members" in phrases), you would get several hits. Perhaps you modified the wrong one. I think the one you want is this phrase:
x_members_and_y_guests
{1} members and {2} guests

Yes, several hits came up and I've been slowly editting them as I understand what they are and where they are located. I scrolled down and found the one you were talking about, I appreciate your help. :c)
