I'd like feedback on anything, really. I'd mainly like to hear about forum organization, ways to make us better and offer something unique and general tips about how to get off to a good start. The forum was put together in 2007 but we are just now launching and we're getting off to a nice start. We'd love to have you sign up and make a few posts; you'll certainly enjoy the experience. :)
Thanks in advance for any feedback. :)

I'm not sure I would change anything my self but that is just me. Anyhow, I signed up and started posting to help out a little.

Thanks Ray, I appreciate it. ;)
Try a fluid width; The simpleness should compliment the 100% length and would make it more spaced.
Good color scheme.

Thanks for the tip Jonny. Personally I don't like fluid widths at all, but I will certainly try it out and see how it looks.

Nice cool, Clean site, not too much clutter. I like the blue tone in the skin, its a nice neutral color. Side colmum works well too, without too much added mess.
Well done Nick, definately gets my thumbs up

Yes, indeed. It includes everything one needs to start a brand new website: vB or IPB license, hosting, domain and a custom skin too!

Normally I hate the over-use of the blue. I quite like this though. Althought the what's going on area icons are custom (good thing) I think you can acquire better, visually better looking icons.
The register badge, It looks terrible. Add a yellow seal badge or something. I've subitted some seals (psd included) that would look nice and bring out the prominent blue (I'd suggest using a yellow seal) they can easily be adapted/modified for the register badge. Seal/badges can be found here (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=198049).
Overall, nice job.

Thank you for your tips, Shelley. I really appreciate them.
The WGO area icons certainly need to be re-done. I kinda just threw them there so it'd be something other than default.
Although these aren't blue, what do you think of using them: http://kde-look.org/content/show.php/Chart+icons?content=54896 -- or these: http://kde-look.org/content/show.php/Free+Vector+Diagram+Icons?content=104647 ?
And wow - I actually really liked the register badge. I thought it was very nicely-colored and well-suited. But since you're such a wonderful designer and I am a huge fan of your work, I will take your advice on this one. :D
I will definitely try out the yellow seal.
Thanks again.

Those icons look a little better (quality wise) they look great and they do look better than what you have but they don't look consistent with the rest of the graphics or the theme (a little cartoony) but they do look better than what you have already.
I would apply them and still hunt around for suitable icons. Think of them as make do for the time being until something visually more appealing comes along.
