How about a mod to subscribe to a thread via Twitter and not email? Would that be good? Or bad?

I am not that 'tuned in' to Twitter to tell if that would be a useful mod or not..

If it is - I WANT IT!

Reason - anything to limit email = good

+ the restricted text of Twitter might guarantee a visit to the forum..?

And why not have a FaceBook option too..

What do you think?

Does a mod like this already exist?

(Not to post a thread to Twitter... ...but for members to be able to to SUBSCRIBE to VB threads they chose and receive new post notification updates of action on those threads on their Twitter accounts.)

This could be neat, but I don't think I'd use it.

The Facebook connect mod will allow you to be notified of updates to subscribed threads. (I think)

Another option is SMS text message notifications. They have this on vBSEO but I'm not sure if it is a public modification.
