Beta stage?

Is there a plugin for 3.8 that allows not selected users but people with the code like when they go onto my site they have to enter a beta code ect?

You can have the forums require a password in order to 'get in' or you can just htaccess protect the whole site and only give that info other to a few users. I can't really tell what you want.

edit: Now I see your youmeo.com link. I haven't seen anything like that. But, I don't imagine it's that hard to write a quick form to send you an email requesting the htaccess username/password for your site - or whatever you use to 'protect' your site.

yeah, i see that too... actually i had a commercial script doing this, based on a text file containing codes given to people visiting the site... similar to this.. .but it's paid, and not released here so i can not talk about it.. lol
