SEO question

My forum is new only a month old and I basically getting zero traffic from the major search engnes like Google. I'm building relevant data on my site but can't find my website based on any decent keywords on the engines. Can I expect this to remain the case without the purchase and installation of a package such as vbSEO?

I have tried several of the manual changes recommended such as sitemap and creating backlinks on other sites.

This week I have had more traffic from this site than from Google.

I generally install vbseo on day one of any new site when feasible, but it alone won't build a community. Try asking around on the vbseo site and see what others think.
