Hello everyone! For some reason, my default board time is not changing at all. Any suggestions, or places I might be missing? I am changing it in the vBulletin Options, trying to get it on -5 EST..but it will not move at all for some reason. Also, it turns out my users cannot change board times in the usercp either..no idea why. This, as far as I know, just started happening.

i would try to help, but You have been banned!

lol...

usually it's the DST javascript that is not changing, but remember that you have to change your own DST after changing the one on the admincp, or you see no change.

Wow, that figures haha. We have to keep quite a few people on our site banned, and sometimes some IP's get caught in the crossfire. If you will give me in PM your first two octets I will remove you ( will actually help me out as well, so no one else is caught in the crossfire ).

Well, I have logged out of my admin account after changing just to see what the times say on the board as a guest..and they are the same. It is very weird, because the same thing appears to be happening on my test board as well. Knowing me, I am just missing something simple.

do you have "Enable Daylight Savings" activated in "Date and Time Options" ?? try both situations, logout/login from your own account on the forum, change your GMT in your profile, and you will see... you're supposed to see a change next time you logout/login, as the javascript would start with the DST reload...

I do have that enabled. I also have in my usercp automatically detect those settings. I have logged in, logged out, logged over and still no change. Not sure what is going on. I could try disabling plugins but I don't think that is the problem considering it is isn't even working correctly on my test board for some reason.

See if you can change the time in your user cp using the default style:
Create a new style with no parent:

Styles & Templates > Style Manager > Add New Style
Parent Style: No Parent Style
Title: Default vBulletin
Allow User Selection: Yes
Save

Then browse the site using that totally default vbulletin style - do you still have the same problem?

Unfortunately, I have already tried that to no avail. Thanks.

If you are using a totally default style, and the modifications are off, then the next thing to do is to reupload all the default vbulletin files.

The problem with this is though is that it is even like this on my FRESH INSTALL on my test board..with only one modification on it ( that I have already turned off to check ). :(

Then at this point, the best place to get help is through a support ticket.
