What Does this product do ?
This product simply adds a Privacy Policy to your site. Google Adsense's new terms of service .

Simply Import the product from the admincp and Upload privacy_policy.php to your forum root directory

sure a privacy policy is already built into vbulletin, your hack is just duplicating it.

Needed this!!!

I got blacklisted from Yahoo! and they wanted some type of Privacy Policy installed onto the site. Hopefully they remove my site from the blacklist so that new members can get there e-mails when they register.

where is the original privacy statement about google adsense shown on google, the link shown in posts are second hand and not a primary source for the information
how can we tell this is correct if the information you are providing is not primary and shown on another website

i created a template edit to add an additonal link instead of find and replace method, works 100%

Because I really disliked the underscore at this mod, I found a solution by editing the templates a bit.

For those of you that want the solution, here it comes.

Go to Styles & Templates in your admin CP, choose Style manager, and choose edit templates.

Now look for the MARCO1_Temp template and press customize.

Delete the code in this template. It should be something like this:

<if condition="$vboptions['MARCO1_pri']"> - <a href="$vboptions[bburl]/privacy_policy.php">$vbphrase[privacy_policy]</a> </if>

Save the (now empty) template.

Now, go to your footer template, and press customize or edit, whatever works.

Search for:
<if condition="$show['modcplink']"><a href="$modcpdir/index.php$session[sessionurl_q]">$vbphrase[mod]</a> -</if>

and after add:

<if condition="$vboptions['MARCO1_pri']"> <a href="$vboptions[bburl]/privacy_policy.php">$vbphrase[privacy_policy]</a> - </if>

Save your template.

This should fix all issues regarding the weird underlining. Hope this helps you out. :)
